Am I Destined to Be Alone? No. But you are destined to stop settling.

If you desire a relationship, you’re destined for one.
But not just any relationship.
You are destined for one that matches the truth of who you are becoming.
The more healing we’re asked to do alone, the more extraordinary the love we’re preparing to receive.
And yes, it would be beautiful to heal with someone by our side.
I want that too.
But here’s what I’ve learned:
When you set a clear intention for a healthy relationship,
you may suddenly find yourself hidden from the very partners you used to attract.
It can feel like you’re destined to be alone.
But from a spiritual perspective, this is protection.
It’s grace.
You’re not being punished. You’re being prepared.
One night, I wrote in my journal in great explicit detail the kind of love I desired.
Not even ten minutes later, I received a text from the man I had been seeing for two years.
A paragraph long text that read, in essence:
“I can’t be who you want me to be, and I can't give you what you need.”
Yes, it can happen that fast.
When you get honest about what you truly desire, life will start clearing the path.
Even if that clearing breaks your heart.
What I didn’t see back then was that I was painting pretty pictures where none existed.
But I see it now.

Women who heal inside a relationship were able to attract securely attached partners — men whose nervous systems can co-regulate, co-heal, and co-hold.
But for many of us, the healing begins alone.
The inner work is necessary.
Walking through our shadows is of utmost importance to be ready for the kind of man our heart and soul and body desires.
Because until we heal our past, we’ll be drawn to what’s familiar — not what’s safe and definitely not what brings us joy.
Until our body feels worthy of being cherished, it will crave intensity over intimacy.
When you heal, your frequency shifts.
And the right one will find you there.
Healing doesn’t end when you meet someone.
But it does change. It becomes softer, safer, shared.
So if you’re walking this path alone, take heart.
You’re not behind.
You’re becoming the woman who no longer paints over red flags with pastel hope.
You're becoming a woman who doesn't make excuses for poor treatment.
You’re becoming the woman who attracts the love she asked for.
The man she finally feels safe enough to receive.
