Focus On His Actions, Not His Promises

He says you’re everything he’s ever wanted.

He talks about a future.

He says he’s “never felt this way before.”

He swears he doesn’t want to lose you.

He says he went to church and thanked God he met you.

But you still feel anxious.

Still wonder where you stand.

Still go to bed with his words, but not his presence.

Because he promised you love.

But he’s not showing up for it.

Here's the feminine truth:

Words are easy.

Consistency takes effort.

A man’s actions will always speak louder than his potential.

Louder than his poetry.

Louder than the things he swears he’s going to do.

Louder than his last text message.

If you have to keep reminding yourself of what he said…

It’s because what he’s doing isn’t adding up.

His Promises Sound Like Love.

His Actions Tell the Truth.

💔 He says, “I’ve just been busy.”

But he hasn’t made time for you in days.

💔 He says, “You’re the one.”

But he keeps leaving your messages on read.

💔 He says, “I don’t want to lose you.”

But he still isn’t ready to commit.

💔 He says, “I’ve never felt this way before.”

But he’s still dating other women.

This is emotional bait.

Not love.

He's still sitting in his boat with bait securely hooked at the end of his fishing rod. Waiting for a fish to bite, but he isn't even hungry, and he has no clear intentions for fishing that day. He is simply out there in his boat as recreation, enjoying the view.

If He Meant It, You’d Know.

If his intentions with you were clear, you wouldn't be confused right now.

You wouldn’t have to overthink.

You wouldn’t need reassurance every other day.

You wouldn’t have to keep explaining your needs or begging for clarity.

Love is not confusion.

If he truly wanted you, you wouldn’t have to ask him to act like it.

Stop Listening to His Words. Watch What He Does. Pay attention to how you feel with him.

Does he make you feel safe or anxious?

Do his actions align with his promises or contradict them?

Does he show up for the connection or just talk about how special it is?

A man who is ready won’t just tell you he’s ready.

He’ll act like it.

Let’s Stop Settling for Potential.

It’s not your job to keep believing in the man he could be.

It’s your job to honor the woman you are right now.

The woman who deserves consistency.

The woman who deserves clarity.

The woman who no longer gets high off of false hope.

Stop painting pretty pictures where none exist.

If he can't put in the effort now, he definitely won't in a long term relationship.
