I BECOME THE FLAME

I used to chase silence,
as if love had gone missing.
As if his quiet was a door closed in my face.
But now I know...

Stillness is not the absence of love.
It is where love deepens its roots.

He withdraws,
not because I am too much,
but because the world has asked him
to carry too much.

And I, the flame,
do not chase the wind.
